Viking 5.56SC .223/5.56 Speedloader

The loader works exactly as advertised, is of good quality, and was shipped quickly. As mentioned in other reviews, it works much better than the loading spoons. Faster and easier on the fingers.

Initially skeptical, I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked loading my 30-round (223) mags from my stripper clips. My first couple of attempts were a little bit stiff, but the more I used the speed loader, the easier it became to load my magazines. Fit and function, especially with my PMAG 30 AR/M4 GEN M3 mags, is great, and loading them with my stripper clips is easy and quick. There was a break-in period, but once past that, everything went better than I expected. Glad I made the purchase. Delivery was quick and packaged well. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. The price was fair, and quality was excellent.

Great product. Works perfectly and reduces reload times and wear and tear on the thumb.

I have several mag loaders but this is by far the best. Easy to load, holds the stripper clips tightly, and easy to dump the stripper once used. Okay this does require the use of stripper clips (have one loader where you just drop in the rounds). But this one doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. It’s also fast. Can load 30 rounds in about a minute with practice.

This is my new favorite Speed Loader. It's rugged, small, and works as advertised. The Stripper Clips are also an excellent way to store my rounds in my ammo cases. This is a very strong item that will last a long time. All positive points for a great price. I highly recommend this product!!!

I do many of my AR reloads on stripper clips. These make reloading to magazines very easy. This loader seems a bit clumsy, but after a couple of tries makes loading a lot easier.No near me sells these. I keep one on my loading bench, and the others in my range bags

The Viking Speedloader is a very handy tool for loading stripper clips into magazines. I tried the spoons on several different mags while loading stripper clips I ran into a couple of issues with the stripper clip sliding too deep in the spoon and getting stuck. I tried the Viking and it worked perfect no slipping of the stripper clip at all. My Dad even tried the stripper clips with spoons on his magazines and ran into the same problem and him not having a lot of strength to push the rounds of the stripper clips into the mags. So I bought me one and I bought him one and it makes the whole affair a lot easier. Just remember to rock the magazine into the magazine spot and do the same with the stripper clip and you’ll have no issues.Great product super helpful I strongly encourage you to purchase this product if you plan on having and using any 556 stripper clips.

Like some of the reviewers have already pointed out, unless the stripper clip is perfectly straight it will jam. The AR15 Stripper Clip Guides work much better than this Viking product. I recently purchased the CroMag MagRipper and it is much better than this Viking Speed Loader. I do like all of the other Clean-Ammo-Cans products but this one is a big miss.

As another person wrote, stripper clips hava a slight curve to them which is a BIG problem when you push the handle to install rounds.You either need to streighten your clips, or the manufacturer needs tomodify this tool so that the bottom of the stripper clip feeds into themagazine better. This was a waste of $30.

First off, clean ammo cans delivered not only on this speedloader but also the stripper clips I ordered as well. Can't believe I went so long without this tool. If your on the fence I would consider getting this if you shoot any decent quantity of rounds. Simply awesome. I will be purchasing more to patronize a great company and great products.

Works as advertised. Takes a bit of practice but when used proficiently, you can easily load a 30rd mag in under 10 seconds.

I bought this item to allow the use of stripper clips for faster reloading when in 3-gun matches and AR-15 training at Frontsight Academy. The product works well on both steel and plastic magazines and allows me to carry my ammunition in stripper clips and transfer it quickly to the magazines as needed. The first time I used it at Frontsight I got a lot of attention from the instructors asking where they could buy them. I would recommend this product to anyone that burns through multiple magazines in training or practice.

does not work as well as the speed loader that comes with the strips, which is what I used even on the plastic mags, PMAG's.

This is the second one I've gotten. I'd still have the first one but my buddy took it out of my range bag. Yeah I still considered him a friend. It was my own fault should have never showed him it. Oh well.

I have tried several loaders the past few weeks. I love this loader. It is built strong, sturdy, is compact and loads great. I have used it to load over 400 rounds from loaded stripper clips and it took me less than 10 minutes. (13-30 rds & 2-40 rds). It held up great, loaded great, and is small enough to fit easily into a pocket while in the field. Great design and a great product and I intend to buy more for family and more for backups and secondary locations.

First off, reloading AR mags isn’t exactly challenging. If you use stripper clips it’s barely a thing. Still, this thing is worth the money. The mags practically load themselves.

Good product but sometimes stripper clips get stuck. I figure that once it is broken in that problem will stop. Have recommended this loader to friends with AR's and have demonstrated it to them, in comparison to standard speed loaders. Friends were impressed.

It takes some time to get all the shelks on stripper rails, but once they are, it's easy to store. When you are ready to load your clips, it's super easy to load 10 at a time. You can fill a 30 round clip in under a minute no problem.

In 5 min, you will have the hang of working this effective and simple loading tool. I bought one for every packed ammo can and fasten securely to front latch, for bugout and emergency can distribution.

Nice for loading pre-range, works well, still doesn't make a lot of sense in a tactical situation, the hands work almost as well, but product is ok, service is second to None. Super fast shipping. Always will purchase from a veteran company first
